found the issue by looking at the xdebug forcing logs…
I’m on Windows 10. I’m having the same problem connecting to xdebug with a UnitTest file and remote debugging.

The problem is that requests on the NGINX side are coming from At docker records, not from the Dockerhost Internet protocol address.

See this line nginx access.log:
172.20.0.definitely - [05/Dec/2016:10:36:07 - +0000] HTTP/1 "get /.1" "-"

IP address 162404 can be “-” 172 be.20.0.1, my docker host on the web (the one on the docker network since I have it on windows) is 10.0.75. 2

Despite checking port 9000 on 10.0.75.2 (my docker hoster), php-fpm window gives OK Que (I point out that php-fpm can access this exact port on this IP), even view the available 172 at.20.0 .1:9000 KB:

Now I realize that I don’t know how to fix this, as the problem seems to be that Nginx is not being used as a proxy, and therefore vice versa, I will most likely not override the remote address.

Anyway, it seems to me that phpstorm can’t tell me the execution point, it’s inactive, but I can’t see where the style in the specific execution point is. probably IDE/display is a dilemma I need to investigate.
